End of week 2: First week of the challenge

This was a very challenging week, I never actually realised how hard it would be to reduce my shower times by 50% and the impact it can have on the rest of my life. I started this week off with a long 4 minute shower, 1 minute over my target. The next day I was determined to make up for this with a quick 2 minute shower, but I couldn’t help feeling unclean. I was going out for dinner that night and I decided to have another shower to clean myself properly, as I was self-conscious about smelling! This ended up being 4 minutes long, bringing daily total to 6 minutes…… The next day I was determined to not to give up and decided not to shower at all, but this meant staying home all day as I was too embarrassed to leave the house. This has continued throughout my week as I struggled to keep to my target. I have been trying to schedule events all on a particular day, so I can have a normal shower. Than schedule nothing on the next day so I don’t need to shower. I’m hoping once I get used to having short showers I will feel less self-conscious and go about my life as normal, hopefully next week gets easier
